MJS Publishing Group, LLC is happy to provide individual publishing services for you. We can help you with everything from editing to proofreading, finding a designer or a printer, or coaching and consulting on your project. Here's how our Individual Services work:

Writing/Ghost Writing

$65 to $125 per hour*

Some authors may have great ideas but find it difficult to do the actual writing needed to convey them. Our ghost writers can tell your story in your voice, under your name. Additionally, our writing coaches can help you hone your own skills so you can get your ideas across to readers in an interesting, succinct way.

Editorial

$75 per hour

Everyone can use the feedback of a good editor. MJSPG editors will review your material and help you get it in shape for publication. These editors will find and help you correct inconsistencies, identify areas that don't make sense, and fill in where material is lacking.

Copyediting

$50 per hour

Correct grammar and style are crucial elements of creating an enjoyable reading experience for your audience. And, there's nothing worse than finding a misspelled word in a printed book. MJSPG copyeditors will read your manuscript and correct any grammar and style mistakes that might exist, ensuring that yours is the most professional manuscript possible.

Consulting & Coaching

$125 per hour

If you need some support and encouragement in getting your project completed, the MJSPG coaches can help. We will talk with you about your project and what it will take to complete it. We will provide ideas for breaking down any barriers you might have that are preventing you from achieving your publishing goals. Our coaches have seen it all, so don't be afraid to ask for their help!

Marketing Plans

$125 per hour*

MJSPG can create a personalized marketing plan for your existing book or manuscript. This can come in handy for those authors who are working with agents or who simply want to write rather than worry about developing strategies to sell their books. Just send us a copy of your book or manuscript, along with a statment of your sales and recognition goals, and we'll put a plan together just for you.
* Depending on the nature and complexity of the project, a flat rate may be negotiated for specialized marketing plans.
