About MJSPG
MJS Publishing Group, LLC was founded in 2004 to respond to the needs of what the publishing industry terms "mid-list authors." These are talented and often prolific authors and writers who, because they are unknown and unproven, are frequently rejected by large publishers as being unmarketable. The truth is that these authors aren't unmarketable; they just don't have a track record of sales. And in these economic times, if you can't prove that your product will sell, "The Big Guys" simply won't take a chance.
From a solely economic vantage point, this decision is understandable. However, essentially it deprives the world of creative material—books, stories, thoughts, original voices, ideas, and dreams—it needs to read. It also vents the discovery of new artists, original communicators. We at MJS Publishing Group want to change this, and we will when we publish your work.
The founder of MJSPG is Mona Syring. She has more than 20 years experience in the publishing field—she's been a manager of creative people, a scheduler, a project manager, an editor, and a writer. She has worked in both the consumer and trade areas on books, magazines, website development, and ancillary products.
Mona cares deeply about both author and project development, and has put together a group of individuals and companies who share her passion for books and the people who write them. Working with her hand-picked team of editors, writers, print and web designers, public relations agencies, and printers, Mona personally oversees all projects that pass through the doors of the company.
